Celebrate Youth Week with drones and laser-tag

TWO major Youth Week events are taking place at Murrurundi and Aberdeen during the school holidays, on Friday, April 9 and Thursday, April 15.

Kids can participate in a free laser-tag and inflatable fun day at the Rosedale Complex in Murrurundi this Friday, between 4:00pm and 7:30pm.

The event will feature a bungee run and sticky wall, with a sausage sizzle and drinks available to purchase.

A drone workshop for children aged twelve to 17 will be held the following Thursday at the Jefferson Park in Aberdeen.

Both events have available transport options from the Scone, Merriwa and Murrurundi Youth Centres however, transport bookings are essential. 

Laser-tag and inflatable fun day details

When: Friday, April 9 from 4pm to 7:30pm;

Where: Murrurundi Youth Centre (Rosedale Complex), 4 Little Street, Murrurundi;

Who: Children of all ages. Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult;

Cost: Free;

Transport options: Free bus service

• Merriwa Youth Centre: Departing 3pm and returning at 9:30pm;
• Scone Youth Centre; Departing at 4pm and returning at 8:30pm;

Drone day details

When: Thursday, April 15 from 10am to 2pm;

Where: Jefferson Park, New England Highway, Aberdeen;

Who: Children aged between 12 and 17;

Cost: $5;

Transport options: Free bus service;
