Weather: The week ahead

PARTLY cloudy conditions in Scone this week, with showers predicted tomorrow through to Thursday, clearing up again on Friday for the weekend.

A low pressure system off the Queensland coast is currently tracking towards the Tasman Sea, directing showers along the New South Wales coast as it moves offshore.

Scone is likely to see rainfall tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday, with the highest catchment expected on Wednesday.

Another strong cold front is expected to move through on the weekend, creating possible windy conditions and a significant drop in temperature. 

Sconeites will begin to feel cooler Autumn temperatures this weekend, with a below average temperature of 22 degrees predicted on Sunday.

The Glenbawn Dam capacity increased by 0.6 percent since last week and is currently sitting at 56 percent capacity.

A maximum temperature of 29 today in Scone.
