Weather: The week ahead

TEMPERATURES will reach a top of 25 degrees in Scone today, before another cold snap hits the Upper Hunter tomorrow.

Widespread rainfall and possible thunderstorms are predicted throughout the state tomorrow, as a westerly cold front moves across New South Wales.

Up to ten millimetres of rainfall is expected to fall in Scone tomorrow and Wednesday, before the cold front moves out towards the east coast on Thursday. 

Temperatures will rise above 20 degrees again from Thursday onwards, with a top of 23 degrees on Saturday. 

Glenbawn Dam is currently sitting at 56.7 percent capacity, a 0.1 percent increase since last week.

Predicted temperatures in Scone:

  • Tuesday: 9-19
  • Wednesday: 7-18
  • Thursday: 9-21
  • Friday: 10-22
  • Saturday: 9-23
  • Sunday: 9-22
