Weather: The week ahead
THERE is a high fire danger for today and tomorrow throughout the Greater Hunter.
A trough is moving through New South Wales and a cold front will be brushing the south-east of the state.
The front will bring warmer weather and gusty wind conditions for the next two days.
Today the winds will be from the north-east, tomorrow they will be from the north west in the morning, before changing to the south south-easterly in the afternoon.
There is no rain predicted during the week, but a slight change of showers on the weekend.
Monday is predicted tor each a top temperature of 33 and Tuesday 31, before dipping to 25 on Wednesday.
The Bureau of Meteorology has cautioned residents that conditions may change rapidly and to stay up to date with forecasts and warnings, and follow the advice of emergency services.
Predicted temperatures:
- Monday: 10 to 33
- Tuesday: 15 to 31
- Wednesday: 10 to 25
- Thursday: 8 to 27
- Friday: 9 to 29
- Saturday: 11 to 25
- Sunday: 11 to 23
