Update: Meads Creek Fire – Friday
OVERNIGHT there was some fire activity on the south-west corner of the fire ground, near Ringwood Road (Wollora Road), which crews were able to keep under control.
The fire is still holding on the eastern front along Policeman’s Track and along the sourthern side of the Goulburn River.
On the northern side of the fire, it is still burning within the park and within containment.
Residents are advised they will see a lot of smoke in the area today.
There is still a severe fire danger and residents are urged to remain vigilant, be ready to follow their bushfire survival plan and ensure their property is well prepared.
