Rangers and Shelters

There are only two rangers covering the  Upper Hunter Shire Council area.

Aside from animal services, the Rangers are responsible for many other tasks including swimming pool inspections, the swimming pool register, septic inspections, council compliance issues such as alcohol free zones, retrieving shopping trolleys in the streets, advertising and hawkers licences in public areas and ensuring furniture in parks and the streets are in good order.
