Scone Amateur Basketball Association

The Scone Amateur Basketball Association has been running for 50 years and continues to attract new local players. Many of the people involved in establishing the Scone Basketball Association are still active members of the Association.

Basketball competitions are run throughout the year, with a break during each school holiday period.

The Association runs three competitions:

      • Mini-ball: Teaches great basic ball skills for children aged 5-9 years. It is run during each school term, on Wednesday at 4pm. The cost of registration is $50 for the year and $10 court fees for each term.
      • Junior Competition: There is junior basketball competition, for children aged between 10 and 14, where children have the opportunity to play a game each week. Children are placed into a team by the Junior Competition Coordinator based on their skill. The competition starts at 5pm on Wednesday. When the draw is finalised it will be placed on this page. The cost of registration is $50 for the year and $10 court fees for each term.
      • Senior Mixed Competition: The mixed senior competition requires each team to have at least two males and three females on the court at any one time. Typically players nominate their own teams, however if you are an individual wanting to play, please let us know and we can find a team who may need another player. The competition will be held on Monday, with a draw to be placed on this page. The cost of registration is $70 for the year and $40 court fees for each competition.
