Covid: regions will need to keep up

THE state has reached 72 percent first vaccination rate and 42 percent fully vaccinated.

Deputy Premier John Barilaro indicated it was unlikely the regions would emerge from lockdown at any stage soon and stressed the regions need to keep pace with vaccinations across the state.

Premier: “Don’t get left behind”

PREMIER Gladys Berejiklian has urged people to get vaccinated and “don’t get left behind.”

The Premier explained only people who were fully vaccinated would be able to enjoy certain restrictions being eased when the state reached key vaccination milestones of 70 percent and 80 percent.
