Fire at Scone Mountain

A grass fire at the base of Scone Mountain was reported 30 minutes ago, is estimated to be across 50 hectares and is listed as out of control.

Fire and Rescue NSW have advised no properties are considered at threat, but they are in attendance to support NSW Rural Fire Services as required.

There are several crews in attendance and air assets will be deployed.

The fire is visible from parts of Barton Street, approximately 100m from some homes.
