Weather: The week ahead

SUNNY weather conditions in Scone today and tomorrow, with light showers predicted for the remainder of the week.

The Upper Hunter will see fog and frost tomorrow morning, followed by another sunny day, reaching a top of 19 degrees.

On Wednesday, a westerly trough is expected to cross the state, bringing possible afternoon showers and a chance of evening thunderstorms.

Rainfall is likely to clear by Thursday afternoon however, a second system will make its way through on Friday, with light showers returning until Saturday.

Tops of 16 degrees for the weekend, with partly cloudy conditions expected on Sunday.

Glenbawn Dam is currently sitting at 57.9 percent capacity, a 0.5 percent increase since last week.
