Weather: The week ahead

SUMMER weather is starting to end, with Autumn weather kicking off tomorrow in the Upper Hunter.

Warm temperatures and humidity will linger today, with a chance of thunderstorms predicted this afternoon.

A South easterly trough will move through tonight, bringing cooler temperatures for the remainder of the week.

Partly cloudy conditions and light winds are expected to continue right through until Sunday, with a slight chance of rain on Saturday.

The Glenbawn Dam is currently at 50.5 percent capacity, 0.3 percent higher than last week.

A maximum temperature of 34 today in Scone.
