Weather: The week ahead

TODAY  will be fairly wet throughout the Upper Hunter, as a tropical depression from north Western Australia travels over New South Wales, covering from south Orange through to Tenterfield. 

Heavy rainfall is predicted, with Scone already receiving up to four millimetres since 9am this morning.

A chance of thunderstorms tomorrow, as rainfall eases off.

Cloudy skies Wednesday and Thursday, with slight showers predicted on Christmas day and further chances of thunderstorms over the weekend.

The Glenbawn Dam is currently at 46.7 percent capacity.

A maximum temperature of 22 today in Scone.
