Weather: The Week Ahead

THE first frost of the year often coincides with ANZAC Day and a cold front moving across the state this week may bring frosty conditions.

The front will bring colder temperatures from Wednesday and widespread rainfall on Thursday.

On the central tablelands they are predicting snow, however it is unlikely on the Barrington Tops, as the cold air is not due to arrive until after the rain has passed.

On Wednesday wind will develop and the chance of light showers, before stronger winds on Thursday and rainfall which may measure 10 to 15 mm.

Expected temperatures this week:

  • Monday: 11 – 24
  • Tuesday: 11 – 25
  • Wednesday: 12 – 26
  • Thursday: 13 – 21
  • Friday: 3 – 14
  • Saturday: 2 – 15
  • Sunday: 3 – 16
