Weather: The Week Ahead

A HIGH pressure system is dominating Upper Hunter weather this week, bringing subtle winds and increasing temperatures through to Wednesday.

Wednesday will see a maximum temperature of 30 degrees before the pressure system pushes through on Thursday.

Light showers are expected on Thursday, with only a few millimetres of rainfall predicted in the shire, followed by lingering drizzling conditions.

Thursday will also see a drop in temperature, ranging from the mid to low twenties and generally cooler conditions right though until Saturday and Sunday.

The maximum temperature in Scone today is 23 degrees and the Glenbawn dam is sitting at 46.6 percent capacity.

  • Wednesday: 7-30
  • Thursday: 13-27
  • Friday: 8-23
  • Saturday: 7-26
  • Sunday: 10-21
