Weather the Week Ahead

SEVERE thunderstorms are predicted for the Upper Hunter area later this afternoon and into the late evening with winds of 90 kilometres and the possibility of hail.

The Bureau of Meteorology has advised the system is moving quickly across the state and areas of the valley and Barrington may see even stronger wind speeds.

Tomorrow will be partly cloudy and sunny conditions with temperatures in the high 20s to low 30s with isolated showers.

A trough moving from the west will see temperatures climb into the mid 30s Wednesday through the weekend and bring an elevated fire danger.
