Veteran’s Golf: September 3

Terry Mitchell defended his Vets’ title when he won the Keith Bluford Shield for the second year in a row at Muswellbrook Golf Club on Tuesday, Sept 3 with 42 stableford points.
We welcomed visitors from Melbourne, Terry and Yvonne Tisdale. We also farewelled Julie Berick who has now moved to the North Coast.
There were 27 players who were shouted lunch by Treasurer Bob Minch. Second was Gary Gray 40, 3rd Rod Auld 38, 4th President Paul Gorman 37 C/B and 5th Buzz Pascoe 37 C/B.
Balls went to Des Partridge, Bruce Robinson and Brian Dever 37, Graham Turvey and Col Solway 36 and Julie Berick and Captain Phil Ledgerwood 35.
The Bradman’s Trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley was won by Jeff McKeon.
