Council has confirmed they were “confused” by my questions pertaining to $37million in loans, which is why they couldn’t answer.

WHILE the airport cost $1.6million last year, Council’s general manager, Greg McDonald told a recent community meeting it was important to continue with the project since approximately 34 families rely on the airport for employment.

THE deficit for the last financial year for the airport has blown out to -$1.6million.

Last month approximately $27million of last year’s $51.9million was reported unspent by Council. With the state of the roads,
