Sports Grounds Closed This Weekend

THE Upper Hunter Shire Council has announced the closure of some of the Shire’s sports grounds this weekend, due to the recent rainfall.

Aberdeen and Scone sports grounds will be closed, along with Merriwa’s number one and two sports ovals.

The Scone netball courts, Scone golf course, Merriwa showground and Murrundi sports ground will remain open.

ABERDEEN: Sports grounds will be closed
MERRIWA: No.1 & No.2 ovals will be closed. Merriwa Showground will remain open.
MURRURUNDI: Sports grounds will remain open
SCONE: Sports grounds will be closed. However, the netball courts will be open. Scone Golf Course will also remain open.
