Scone Stock Report: September 17
By Stuart Sheldrake
THERE were 1,150 yarded at the Scone sale yards today, with the market firm to five cents easier but the market held up quite well.
There were a very good number of export cattle penned.
Trade cattle were cheaper on quality and feeder cattle were back 10 cents.
However, younger feeder were dearer and bounced back 10 to 20 cents, probably on a bit of anticipation of rain, although we haven’t had a lot yet.
