On Saturday, October 14 a group of the Scone men golfers played in the 2 person ambrose event at Muswellbrook. Steve Morse and Alan Wood had a great day out with 5 under par for a nett 61 and ¾ to be the best Scone score.
The Bob Rose Matchplay Championship in C Grade has been recently finalised. Damien Collison defeated Kevin Thompson in a very close match with Damien winning the 18th hole to finish 1 up. The final of A Grade is about to be completed with Simon Groom and Jake Teague to play off.
Some of the lady golfers also played at Muswellbrook on Thursday in the medley stableford. Annie Woods is becoming more accustomed to the course and had the best round of the Scone players with 31 points.
The Scone Golf Club annual Presentation Night will be held on Saturday, October 21, when the winners and runners up of the major events during the season will be acknowledged. Members are looking forward to an enjoyable evening at Scone Sporties.
