Rainfall totals and snow update
SCATTERED showers provided the Upper Hunter with some nice Winter rainfall totals this week, with warm temperatures and mostly sunny skies expected over the weekend.
Merriwa and Murrurundi both recorded a pleasant 20 millimetres yesterday and the Stoney Creek catchment recorded 25 millimetres.
Scone and Parkville also fared well, receiving 8.4 and 7.6 millimeters respectively.
Warmer temperatures and dry conditions are predicted on the Barrington Tops today and tomorrow, which means no snow is expected to fall on the popular school holiday spot this weekend.
Glenbawn Dam has favoured from the recent rainfall and is now sitting pretty at 60 percent capacity.
