What’s on- Your weekend in the Upper Hunter

DESPITE many local events being cancelled this weekend due to the new statewide Covid-19 restrictions, there is still plenty to do in the wider Upper Hunter area this weekend.

For those who want to stretch their legs and visit outdoor wineries and markets, see: What’s on in Singleton.

Locals are asked to adhere to social distancing rules and wear masks in non-residential indoor venues, as per the current New South Wales Health guidelines.

Those who visit venues are reminded to check-in using the Service New South Wales App QR code or on paper sign-in sheets provided.

Unfortunately, the Aberdeen Highland Games and the Wanaruah Local Aboriginal Land Council Flag Raising Ceremony and morning tea have been postponed until further notice.

Garage Sale

What: Items ranging from Wedding Items, New party items never used, household items, massive clothing sale as well Men n Women’s some still with tags attached others worn but still like new, Shoes, Cowboy Hats etc. Don’t forget to wear masks and practice safe distancing;

When: Sunday, July 4 strictly from 9am to 2pm;

Where: 6 Bingle Street, Scone.

Sunday Roast

What: Enjoy a Sunday Roast, without the cooking fuss;

When: Sunday, June 27 from 5pm;
