A minor accident occurred last night, when a car left the New England Highway and hit a pole located in a paddock near the Turanville Road turn-off.
Police have confirmed no one was injured in the accident, which was not reported at the time.
The vehicle is owned by a Maitland resident.
Ambulance and fire were activated just before 1pm today following a call by a concerned passerby, but Police were able to update the other emergency services and the response was called off.
