King of the Ranges Stockman’s Challenge

The 80 places in the competition fill fast, with horsemen and women travelling from throughout Australia to compete for the title of King of the Ranges and the $10,000 in prize money:

• bareback riding obstacle course;
• shoeing;
• freestyle event – includes doing a range of tricks with the horse;
• stock handling – dogs can be used to assist;
• pack saddle;
• whip cracking, while completing a jumping course;
• cross country course;
• polley saddle buck jumping and
• brumby catching.
