Suspected Illegal Hunting at Barrington Tops

A PROPERTY in Tomalla has experienced two issues of trespassing this month, both in relation to suspected illegal hunting activity.
 
The first incident occurred sometime between August 6 and 13 when a gate was removed from its post, allowing a vehicle to illegally access the property.
 
Another seperate trespass incident occurred later that week on August 15.
 
Police suspect that those responsible were illegally hunting on the property on both occasions. 
 

The Hunter Valley Rural Crime Prevention Team are now seeking public assistance in relation to the ongoing trespass and suspected illegal hunting activities.

Rural Crime Investigators ask for anyone with information on either of the incidents, or anyone who saw suspicious vehicles in the area on the dates listed above, to please contact the Hunter Valley Rural Crime Prevention Team at Muswellbrook Police Station on 6542 6999, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
