Fire: Downgraded to watch and act
THE NSW Rural Fire Service have advised the fire threat has reduced from shelter in place to watch and act.
The fire has slowed significantly and is predominantly in bushland, rather than grassland.
The wind change occurred as predicted, and the fire is headed in a north-easterly direction.
Containment lines are being put in place at Gundy Road and Glen Creek Road.
Residents in the area are advised to continue to monitor conditions and watch for any embers around their property.
Water bombers are continuing to fight the fire, drawing water from Richmond.
