Covid: New local cases
ANOTHER case of covid has been confirmed in Muswellbrook and another in Singleton.
The state has reached 88.5 percent first vaccination rate and 67.5 per second dose vaccination rate. On current trend the projection is the state will reach 70 percent on October 7, 80 percent on October 17 and 90 percent on October 27.
There were 608 new cases throughout the state, 978 people are hospitalised, 190 people are in intensive care, 94 are being ventilated and 6 people have passed away.
There were 65 new cases of covid in the Hunter New England Health district 25 people are hospitalised and three people are currently in intensive care.
