HUNTER New England Health have reported 69 new cases of covid overnight including:
- 1 in Merriwa
- 3 in Muswellbrook
- 2 in Singleton and
- 1 in Gresford
No new exposure sites have been identified in the Upper Hunter Shire area or Muswellbrook today.
THE Premier has said schools will be going back a week early due to the state reaching 70 percent double vaccination before anticipated.
ANOTHER case of covid has been identified in Singleton, bringing the total number of active cases to five.

ANOTHER two venues of concern have been flagged by Hunter New England Health in Muswellbrook and another two in Singleton.

NSW Health assess lockdowns and covid-risk, based not just on case numbers, but on the risk of community transmission,

MUSWELLBROOK may be headed into lockdown, with a decision to be made this afternoon.
NSW Health are also reviewing the infections in Port Macquarie and Kempsey for lockdown.
