Child injured on a Merriwa property

A child is in a serious but stable condition after she fell from a motorcycle on a rural property at Merriwa.

Westpac Rescue Helicopter transported the 9-year-old female from Denman Hospital to the John Hunter Hospital after the incident on Saturday 10 April.

The aircraft doctor and critical care medical team stabilised the youngster before airlifting her to the John Hunter Hospital.
