Weather: The week ahead

TEMPERATURES dropped down to 2.6 degrees last night in Scone, with similar over night temperatures predicted tonight and tomorrow.

A large high pressure system currently sitting over the Upper Hunter is creating clear night skies and dissipating any heat built up during the day.

Scone will experience below average temperatures for the month of April in the first half of the week, with temperatures slightly warming from Wednesday onwards. 

Wind is expected pick up on Wednesday and Thursday, before dropping off again on Friday.

Mostly sunny conditions over the weekend, with tops of 25 degrees on Sunday.

A maximum temperature of 20 today in Scone.

Glenbawn Dam rose by 0.3 percent since last week and is currently sitting at 56.3 percent capacity.

  • Tuesday: 6-25
  • Wednesday: 9-28
  • Thursday: 13-27
  • Friday: 10-23
  • Saturday: 9-24
  • Sunday: 9-25
