Alternatives for voting if flooded in

THE New South Wales Electoral Commission has advised people who are concerned about flash flooding preventing them from reaching a polling booth on election day, Saturday, December 4,should phone them on 1300 135 736 to make alternate arrangements.

People will be fined if they do not vote, but there may be other options available to cast your vote by postal vote or iVote. The applications for postal vote close at 5pm today.

• Murrurundi: 47 Mayne Street, Murrurundi (Mon – Fri: 8:30am – 4:30pm)
