Update: Scone Mountain fire

THE NSW Rural Fire Service have advised there is heightened fire activity in the south-western area of the fire zone, near Gundy Road and Leighton Park Road, Segenhoe.

Residents are asked to continue to monitor the conditions and recommended to use the Hazards Near Me app which will send push notifications when conditions change.

There will be a slight easing of conditions tomorrow, but there will be some gusty winds early morning which will make it challenging for fire fighters.
