There will be some showers and the possibility of thunderstorms today and tomorrow, with rain increasing on Wednesday through until Friday.
A weather system is moving across central Australia, with a trough from the west of the state bringing significant rainfalls from Wednesday. The trough will move off the south coast on Friday and drier weather will then follow.
The Bureau is predicting an average of 60 to 70mm from Wednesday until Friday, with thunderstorms bringing some higher falls in some areas.
