Westpac called to Omadale

THE Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to Omadale, north of Moonan Brook at approximately 11am, to care for a 53 year old male, who had fallen from his motorcycle. 

Local Ambulance Paramedic and Emergency Services attended the scene and began treating the man for leg, pelvic and abdominal injuries.

The man was in a serious condition, stablised and then flown to the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle for further specialised care.
