Neighbourhood Centre Ready to Help
LEE Watts Manager of the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre said, “I want to ensure the community that our service remains open and ready to help the community, however we be postponing our community events including the ‘Morning Bites’ Breakfast van, International Women’s Day on Wednesday 18 March, Harmony Day 21 March and Connect Day 24 March.”
“It is really important that we pull together as a community, think about who you can help and how you can help them,” said Ms Watts.
“I would like to remind the community there is enough of everything on the supermarket shelves for everyone if we all share and buy sensibly,” she said.
“Please be kind to staff in supermarkets, Dr Surgery, hospitals, travel agents or any other outlet they are all doing their best to help,” she said.
“It is a time of uncertainty so again let’s all work together,” Lee Watts said.
