Westpac: Boy Fell from Horse in Merriwa

A seven year old boy fell from a horse this morning at the Merriwa Showground.

He was treated on scene by ambulance, for abdominal injuries before being transported by road to the Muswellbrook Hospital, where the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and transported to the John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.

The seven year old boy was taken to the Muswellbrook Hospital, then flown to the John Hunter Hospital, in Newcastle.
