Weather The Week Ahead

THERE are relatively dry conditions across the state, but from Wednesday will be the potential for thunderstorms developing over the northern region and parts of the Upper Hunter in the afternoon, which is also the case on Thursday.

On Friday, it will be dry and from Saturday a cold front will begin moving across the state and ahead of that feature thunderstorm activity is expected on Saturday and Sunday.

There are fires across the state, mostly in the north-east of New South Wales and further activity across the eastern central parts, which is producing smoke across many parts of the state.
