Johnson Matter Mentioned in Newcastle

RODNEY Johnson appeared via video link in Newcastle district court today.

The brief of evidence is yet to be presented and the matter was adjourned until January 31.

Mr Johnson seemed confused at the end of the court discussion and asked “is bail still refused?”

The Magistrate Jackson explained “bail was not applied for.”

Mr Johnson’s solicitor, Mr Malcolm said he would explain the bail situation to his client.
