Barrington Bridge Work

MAINTENANCE work will be carried out on the Barrington Bridge this week affecting traffic on the Thunderbolt’s Way, Barrington.

Roads and Maritime Services staff will be tightening bolts, replacing timber and installing a steel plate on the bridge deck.

Work will be carried out between 7am and 5pm weekdays beginning on Thursday, October 25 and is expected to be completed by Friday, November 9.

Traffic controls will be in place with a reduced speed limit of 40 kilometres per hour and when scaffolding is erected on Thursday, October 25 motorists are advised to allow an extra 15 minutes travel time.
