Women’s Network
THE Scone Chamber of Commerce is relaunching its women’s network evenings this month.
Jane Callinan, vice president of the Scone Chamber of Commerce said the events had been successful in the past and they were looking forward to the event this month.
“The women’s networking event has been really successful in the past, but it lapsed for a few years and we are keen to restart them,” said Ms Callinan.
“The feedback from people was that they were a great way for local women to meet each other in an informal environment and discuss business,” she said.
“It’s a great way to connect and access services for your business,” Jane Callinan said.
Elizabeth Flaherty, editor of scone.com.au will be the guest speaker at the first event held at A Fridge and A Frypan on Wednesday, February 24.
The Chamber aims to hold three or four events each year.
