Two League Tag teams from the Scone Thoroughbreds are playing in the grandfinals in Muswellbrook.

• Under 12’s: 5:20pm, Olympic Park, Wilson Avenue, Muswellbrook.
• Under 14’s: 6:2pm, Olympic Park, Wilson Avenue, Muswellbrook.

Scone Films: Ocean’s 8

• What: Scone Films resents a screening of Ocean’s 8 starring Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett and Anne Hathaway.
• When: Doors open at 7pm.
• Where: Scone Senior Citizens Hall, Crn Oxford Road and Cooper Street, Scone.
• Cost: $12 at the door, Hunt-A-Book or online.

Stallion Parades

The Upper Hunter showcases the stallions servicing in the area this season. Some studs are open to the public and others are by invitation only. Contact the farm you are interested in visiting to check if the parade is open to the public. Some parades that are open to the public include:

• Newgate Farm: Parade open to the public: 8:45am and 10:30am. 586 Rouchel Road, Aberdeen.
• Arrowfield: Parade open to the public: 9.00am to 12.00, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Open House: 2.00pm to 4.00pm, Friday and Saturday. Gundy Road, Scone.
• Vinery: Parade open to the public: Breakfast from 8.30am and Parade from 9.00am. 684 Segenhoe Road, Scone.
• Aquis: Open Days Saturday and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. 6018 New England Highway, Murrurundi.

Junior Rugby League Grandfinals

Four Scone Thoroughbred Junior Rugby League teams are playing in the grand finals this weekend: Under 10’s, Under 11’2, Under 12’s and Under 13’s. The games begin at 8:30am, however the locations were unavailable.

St Mary’s Parish Dinner

• What: St Mary’s Scone, Parish dinner. All welcome. Band: The Ohhhhs.
• When: 6:30pm.
• Where: Scone RSL Club, 71 Guernsey Street, Scone.

• Reserve Grade: 1:20pm: Scone plays Aberdeen at McKinnon Oval, Jefferson Park, Macqueen Street, Aberdeen.
• First Grade: 3pm: Scone plays Aberdeen at McKinnon Oval, Jefferson Park, Macqueen Street, Aberdeen.
