What’s on- Your weekend in the Upper Hunter

TUNE in to Channel Nine tonight at 7:45pm to watch local Scone Grammar Physical Education teacher Yasmin Meakes play in the 2021 Women’s State of Origin match.

Tomorrow, it’s the 50th anniversary of the Scone Bill Rose Parkrun, with the community group inviting locals of all ages and abilties to join them on a free five kilometre walk-run.

The St Joseph’s Merriwa Primary School Parents and Faculty group are hosting the annual Junior Campdraft and Fete this weekend, with fun activities, cake stall, raffles and full canteen on offer at the Merriwa Showground.

Music lovers can also get their fix tomorrow night, with DJ Hyperhertz live at the Royal Hotel in Scone and a karaoke party at Murrurndi’s White Hart Hotel.

A ninja course, henna tattoos parkour workshop, zorb ball games, live band and cooking and craft activities will be on offer at the Scone Youth Centre open day next Tuesday.
