Scone Art Prize – Opening Night
- What: Opening night of the 55th Scone Art Prize.
- When: 6:30pm, Friday, September 6, 2019.
- Where: Scone Arts and Crafts Hall, 63 Kingdon Street, Scone.
- Cost: $15 at the door, with a drink and canapes on arrival. Catalogues will be available this year for $2.

Texas Longhorns Australia – Meet and Greet
- What: A relaxed meet and greet before the show and sale this weekend, all welcome to come and talk about the breed.
- When: 6pm, Friday, September 6, 2019.

Saturday, September 7
Scone Park Run
- What: A park run held each Saturday. To register log onto: Park Run and your details can then be used at any Park Run event. The event is dog friendly, dogs must be on a lead and towards the pack of the running pack. If you are bringing a stroller or pram it is recommended that it is suitable for jogging as the ground is uneven.
- When: 7:45am for 8am start. Held weekly.
- Where: Bill Rose Complex, 27 – 35 Kingdon Street, Scone.
- Cost: Free.

Football Grand Finals
- What: Scone will host the Rugby League grand finals this year.
- 10am: League Tag – Scone v Murrurundi
- 11:20am: Under 18’s – Singleton v Aberdeen
- 1pm: Reserve Grade – Merriwa v Aberdeen
- 2:40pm: First Grade – Scone v Aberdeen
- Where: Scone Park, Hill Street, Scone.

6th National Texas Longhorns Australia Show
- What: 25 Texas Longhorns being judged by Patrick Holt, who brought the breed to Australia in the 90’s.
