What is your town’s vaccination rate?
THE government has said restrictions will ease once the state reaches 70 percent second vaccination targets, which is predicted to be by mid-October.
When the state reaches that milestone, people who have been fully vaccinated will have a range of restrictions eased. Read more: Covid: The reopening roadmap rules.
Pop-up clinics are beginning across the region, starting with the towns which have the lowest vaccination rates.
Today the state average vaccination rates have reached 75.56% first vaccination (4,961,216 people) and 42.5% fully vaccinated (2,802,011 people).
Rates of 1st vaccinations by town on September 6:
- Scone: 70-79%
- Murrurundi: 60-69%
- Aberdeen: 60-69%
- Merriwa: 60-69%
- Singleton: 60-69%
- Denman: 60-69%
- Muswellbrook: 50-59%
Rates of 2nd vaccinations by town on September 6:
- Scone: 40-49%
- Murrurundi: 40-49%
- Aberdeen: 30-39%
- Singleton: 30-39%
- Merriwa: 30-39%
- Muswellbrook: 20-29%
- Denman: 20-29%
