Westpac Rescue Tasked To Ellerston

AT approximately 4pm this afternoon, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to Ellerston to attend to a 25-year old man who sustained a head injury when his polo horse rolled on him during a game.

He was treated on scene by the tournament’s medical team and local paramedics, before the critical care medical team from the Westpac arrived on scene.

He was transferred to the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle in a stable condition.
