Westpac: Miraculous 81 Patient in Wingen

THE Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to Wingen this morning to care for an 81 year old female who had been run over by her vehicle.

The woman was driving on a property, when she stepped out of the vehicle it began to roll away and she was run over while attempting to get back in the vehicle, sustaining a lower leg injury.

However, she still managed to get the car under control, then drove back to the farmhouse, climbed a flight of stairs and called for help.

The woman is being transported to the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, in a stable condition.
