Weather: The Week Ahead

THERE is a possibility for snow at the Barrington Tops later tonight and tomorrow as a low pressure system develops off the New South Wales coast, moving cold air across the state.

Cold air will bring a small chance of thunderstorms and rain in the Upper Hunter this afternoon, carrying into the evening, with a slight potential for small hail in some areas.

The maximum temperature in Scone today will be 15 degrees, creeping up to 16 degrees throughout the rest of the week, turning into sunny skies over the weekend with a top of 20 degrees on Sunday.
