Weather: The week ahead

MOSTLY sunny skies this week in Scone, with higher than average temperatures during the beginning of the week.

Warm north westerly air will see temperatures rise throughout the week, cooling back down again from Thursday onwards.

On Thursday, a south west trough will move through, bringing possible showers and a chance of thunderstorms however, more shower activity is expected across coastal areas, with only four millimetres expected to fall across Scone on Friday.

A slight chance of showers and cloudy conditions to remain over the weekend, with temperatures dropping back into the mid twenties.

The Glenbawn Dam is currently at 49.4 percent capacity.
