Weather: The Week Ahead

TODAY virga will be occurring in the Upper Hunter, a term used to describe when rain falls from the clouds but the atmosphere is so dry, the rain evaporates before it can hit the ground.

There is a front moving through to the south producing winds tomorrow of approximately 30 kilometres later in the day.

A high-pressure system is building in behind the front for the rest of the week, which will bring slightly cooler temperatures on Wednesday, getting down to -1 on Thursday morning.

The daytime temperatures are warmer this week, which is the case across the state.
