Weather: The Week Ahead

HEAVY rainfall and gusty winds are predicted for the Upper Hunter today, with rainfall expected to continue through to Thursday this week.

The Upper Hunter is expected to receive a further 20 millimetres of rainfall today, as a low pressure system moves through, causing strong south easterly winds and heavy rainfall.

Rain will ease tomorrow, with light showers predicted tomorrow afternoon and Wednesday afternoon.

Possible thunderstorms on Wednesday afternoon and light showers on Thursday evening.

Partly cloudy conditions throughout the week, with temperatures warming from Friday onwards.

The maximum temperature in Scone today is 15 degrees and the Glenbawn dam is sitting at 45.9 percent capacity.
